When you don’t start off joyful, what do you do to improve your day? Do you wake up in a good mood or a mood which some improvement? Does being joyful help you find the good in life and others? Does being positive help you to be more joyful?
We spend part of our lives trying to be more positive and joyful in everyday situations. We often wonder why this can be difficult for some and easier for others. A simple smile can certainly change someone’s day. Treating others with respect and a smile can add joy to your life and will definitely add to theirs.

In researching this topic we found many articles we read told us to practice gratitude. To write down what we are grateful for and this will cause us to look inside ourselves and see what we need to change. For every negative thought we have we should think of two positive thoughts to drive them away. We need to remember we can either be the reason others have a great day or the reason they don’t and we will need to change our attitude accordingly.
