The first Toyota dealership in the United States was on October 31, 1957 as Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., at the location of a former Rambler dealership in Hollywood, Ca. The first Toyota car registered in the United States was a 1958 Toyopet, sold in 1958.
2. Where was the first McDonalds?
In 1948 brothers Mac and Dick MacDonald renovated their barbecue restaurant to become a drive-in hamburger restaurant. The first McDonald’s was located in San Bernardino, California at the intersection of 14th and E Streets.

The first shopping mall was the Country Club Plaza and opened near Kansas City, Mo., in 1922. The first enclosed mall called Southdale opened in Edina, Minnesota in 1956.

6. Where was the first KFC?
Harland Sanders opened a lunchroom in the back of a service station in Corbin, Ky. in 1930. This is where he developed his famous chicken recipe. In 1937, Sanders built Sander’s Cafe, where his fried chicken was the most popular item on the menu.

In 1894 McGreevy opened his “3rd Base Saloon” in Boston (sports-themed bar).
